Incendiary devices found in Jehovah’s Witness worship hall in Thornton

Three incendiary devices were found inside a Jehovah’s Witnesses worship hall in Thornton, where a murder-suicide happened Christmas morning. Police were called to Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, where they said a man shot and killed his wife, then turned the gun on himself outside the worship hall. Both were former members of the congregation. The Sherrelwood congregation is calling it an “unprovoked attack,” and in a statement said, their “hearts go out to the family and friends traumatized by the heinous actions that took the life of an innocent victim and threatened the lives of many others.” One other person was inside the building when the pipe-bomb-like devices were thrown inside the worship hall. They did not detonate and were successfully disarmed by authorities.
