Colorado Minority Leader Rep. Hugh McKean will lie in state after his sudden death last weekend. McKean will lie in state in the Colorado Capitol rotunda next Thursday, November 10, with a military honor guard present. A short ceremony will feature remarks from Governor Jared Polis. A funeral will be held at Resurrection Fellowship Church in Loveland Saturday, November 12 at 11 a.m. McKean died of a heart attack last Sunday just a little over a week before he was due to be re-elected; he was running unopposed for his seat that represents most of Loveland. McKean was 55 years old.
