It’s official: A U.S, Customs office is coming to Northern Colorado Regional Airport in Loveland. Customs and Border Protection announced that Windsor developer Martin Lind received funding for the site. It’s one of nearly two dozen selected. Under the program, Customs will reimburse Discover Air, a private jet company, for the salaries and overtime for up to five full-time officers. It plans to hire one. The Coloradoan reports Lind is assuming all financial responsibility for the project for now, but Loveland and Fort Collins which own the airport may chip in. The customs office would also be open to the public for immigration services, gun registration, and global entry applicants. For more details, go to https://www.coloradoan.com/.
