Loveland needs 750 additional housing units to catch up to growing demand, and over 5,000 more over the next 10 years, according to data presented at a meeting of local government officials and nonprofits Thursday morning. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, hosted by Neighbor 2 Neighbor, the Larimer County nonprofit that supports affordable housing and homelessness prevention, the breakfast meeting at Foundations Church in Loveland focused on rising costs and incompatibility between the current area’s housing needs and the housing provided.
