The body found floating in the South Platte River has been identified as a missing Evans man. The Weld County Coroner’s Office confirmed over the weekend that, Brendan Timothy Stewart Hubbard, was discovered erlier this month partially wrapped in a tent in the riverbed near U.S. 34 in Weld County. The 32 year old had been missing for several weeks, according to an agency news release. The cause of death is pending an autopsy report. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
