Woman And Her Dog Fend Off Alleged Attacker In Fort Collins Park

It was a late night walk that turned into a nightmare for a woman in Fort Collins, but her dog helped bring it to an end.  The woman called 911 late Sunday, obviously in distress and yelling at  a man to get off her.   The Loveland Reporter Herald reports dispatchers were able to trace the victim’s phone to Lee Martinez Community Park, where the woman  pointed them to a man trailing behind her. She told officers she had been fending the man off for 20 minutes when her dog bit him in the face, allowing her to escape.
