A teacher in Greeley-Evans School District 6 is one of seven finalists in the running for the title of 2020 Colorado Teacher of the Year. Machin Norris teaches science, technology, engineering and math integration at Northridge High School in Greeley. The sole finalist, who will become Colorado’s nominee for the National Teacher of the Year competition, will be announced by Nov. 1, according to a Colorado Department of Education news release.
