On Monday, Sept. 14, Tres Amigos in Greeley will make its entire food menu free for the day. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Greeley Tribune reports the only thing excluded from what the restaurant is calling “Comida con Corazon,” which translates to “Food with Heart,” is alcohol. That way, the restaurant doesn’t have to cut anyone off during a free giveaway and can avoid people getting a little less than family-friendly, says the owner. Tres Amigos opened its third location — and its first south of the Wyoming border — May 19 at 806 9th St. in downtown Greeley.
