University of Northern Colorado President Dr. Andy Feinstein Tuesday morning outlined focal points school leadership seeks to address in his second year. In his State of the University speech, Feinstein said the school must address what he called uncomfortable items, including making student success the top priority.
Feinstein was strong in his words about UNC needing to improve in the areas of enrollment and retention, especially in light of the fact that more than a quarter of students who enroll leave the university without their degrees.
Feinstein also outlined plans for a 2030 vision statement for the university to be developed before the end of October.
