A 22 year old wanted Greely man is facing new charges after he allegedly slammed into a patrol cruiser Monday. Police got a tip that Julio Vega, 22, wanted on several outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants, according to an agency news release, was in the area of King Soopers off 11th Avenue and U.S. 34. But when officers arrived Vega backed into the patrol car and another parked vehicle, and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this wanted felon is asked to call Weld County Dispatch.
