The Loveland Rural Fire Protection District Board voted to support President Paul Bukowski in the recall election against him, which is scheduled for Oct. 13. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, during a special meeting Wednesday morning, the Loveland Rural Fire Protection District Board approved the Oct. 13 recall election in a 4-1 vote. Prior to approving the election, Bukowski requested an addition to the agenda asking if the board would support him in fighting against the recall or prefer his resignation.
