Woman Accused Of Stabbing Ex-Boyfriend In Greeley

A woman who told police her ex boyfriend walked into the knife she was holding, is now facing attempted murder charges.  The Greeley Tribune reports 27 year old Breann Zabel was arrested June 17 on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, felony menacing with a domestic violence enhancer.   The victim called police to report the stabbing at about 12:23 a.m. June 17  at the Creek View Apartments, in the southeast corner of the 83rd Avenue and 20th Street intersection, where he and Zabel live together. The victim told police that Zabel, his ex-girlfriend, stabbed him and said that she was going to tell officers that he had sexually assaulted her, according to the affidavit.
