She’s been the face of tourism in Loveland for a dozen years and now she’s stepping down. Cindy Mackin, director of Visit Loveland, has announced her resignation, effective April 18. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1993. After earning a degree from Colorado State University in 1997, she returned to the city to work in marketing for the Loveland Prime Outlets and raise her family, reports the Loveland Reporter Herald. Over her 12 years at the helm, she launched several initiatives aimed at attracting visitors, including the love lock sculptures at the visitors center and Lake Loveland and the annual Winter Wonderlights, which debuted in 2017.
