A fatal stabbing in a Greeley laundromat over the weekend leaves one man dead and another in the Weld County Jail. According to the Greeley Tribune, police cuffed 39-year-old Michael Vergara on suspicion of first-degree murder stemming from the Sunday evening stabbing. Just before 7 p.m., Greeley police were dispatched to a laundromat in the Greeley Mall where they found the victim unconscious and bleeding from multiple stab wounds. Police say Vergara left the scene and drove to a church parking lot, where he called police and told them where he was Police found a folding knife in Vergara’s pocket and say the suspect identified it as the weapon used. No word yet on the victim’s identity.
