Man Cuffed For Allegedly Threatening Greeley Walmart Employee With Knife

Police say a man is in the Weld County lock up  after allegedly threatening a Walmart employee with a knife when the employee questioned him on items he was  trying to steal.  According to the Greeley Tribune,  police say 35 year old Jeremy Velazco pulled a knife on an asset protection employee in late February at the 23rd Avenue Walmart in Greeley before threatening to kill him while trying to leave the store with just over $30 of stolen items last month.  He was arrested the  next day on suspicion of both aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and felony menacing with a deadly weapon.
