Update: The woman found dead near Kersey during a separate death investigation has been identified. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said the victim is Heather Franks, 48, of Greeley whose body was discovered over the weekend in unincorporated Weld County where detectives were following up on a lead into the homicide of 53-year-old Greeley resident and muscian, Stanley Scott Sessions on Sunday. Franks cause and manner of death are pending the ongoing investigations. Franks had an active warrant on suspicion of homicide at the time of her death.
