A pastor at Gilcrest Baptist Church faces charges of unlawful sexual contact involving an at-risk person. 62-year-old Paul Wakefield has also been placed on leave from his duties at the church while the investigation is underway. According to police, Wakefield had been visiting a woman at an assisted living facility in Windsor when a nurse walked in her room to find Wakefield with his hands up the woman’s shirt and his head on her chest. The woman’s son also told police he’d found Wakefield in the same position at least two other times in the last couple months.
