A garage fire brought down a power line in Greeley early this morning. Police officers on patrol saw the orange glow and smoke and called out the fire department to the garage on 7th Street around 12:30 this morning. The garage was fully engulfed by the time they arrived. Before crews could get it out, the flames spread to a power pole and a tree. A power line came down and Xcel Energy had to come turn off the electricity. No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
