Now What???

Simply put. Let’s talk softball. Let’s talk about these fall sports. I think that we can all agree that the final decision was less than ideal and most importantly it was different. Different than what we had planned and different than what we wanted. I was flooded with emotions when the announcement was first made. Confusion and anger, followed by more confusion. When I finally got my head around what was happening, I looked on the bright side. Our play by play man Clark Johnson will be broadcasting this fall. All athletes will have a chance to compete in their selected sports. Positive News. The unfortunate fact is that we cannot do anything about the decision that was made, but what we can do is show these high school athletes that we care, and we still have their back no matter what. Athletics in Northern Colorado are damn competitive. Softball in Northern Colorado is damn competitive. University brought home a state championship last year. Eaton is there year in and year out. Loveland won their conference. Fossil Ridge was state runner-up just to name a few. It’s time to get to it. Training camp coverage of High School Softball Starts this Saturday and then continues next week! Check out 1310kfka.com for scheduling information.
