Indecision on the Decision

It’s no secret that CHSAA and the Governor’s office are dragging their feet. But, should we really be surprised? We are talking about high school athletics, Friday night lights, Volleyball matches, the crack of a softball bat. We are talking about memories. It’s a delicate subject and it is definitely a tough conversation to have about what is best. But the fact of the matter is that a decision HAS to be made, and it has to let these kids play. No it doesn’t have to be in the fall, no it doesn’t have to be in front of packed stadiums, but these kids cannot lose out on memories. The waiting is the hardest part and it could be mere moments from now that the announcement is made, but the fact of the matter is there is only one clear answer. Find a way to let these kids live out their memories. It may look different, it may not be what we are use to, but let them play.
