One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-25 in Broomfield. It happened Saturday just after 2:30 a.m. on I-25 at Northwest Parkway. Police said one driver in the three-vehicle wreck was pronounced dead at the scene. A 23-year-old man from Thornton was hospitalized. Troopers said alcohol was likely a factor in the crash, which shuttered the interstate for at least five hours.
