UPDATE: Jackson was located, he is safe, and has been reunited with his family.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old. Jackson Lopez was last seen at his home in the 1100 block of East County Road 30 near Donath Lake in Fort Collins at about 6:00 p.m. this evening. Jackson was wearing a camouflage hoodie, black combat boots, and an Arizona Cardinals scarf. He may have been wearing an Arizona Cardinals beanie hat. Jackson is 5’06”, 135 pounds, with buzzed/short brown hair and brown eyes, and wears glasses. There is no reason to suspect criminal activity, however Jackson has autism causing additional concern for his safety.
