The most recent Colorado Flu report was recently released and these are the key findings:
131 new influenza-associated hospitalizations were reported last week, with a total of 295 hospitalizations this season. Influenza-like illness patient visits reported by outpatient clinics was almost 7%. This exceeds the baseline of 2.65%. There have been six outbreaks associated with influenza in long-term care and correctional facilities this season. There have been no pediatric deaths associated with influenza this season. Please do your part and get your influenza vaccination to help control the spread this cold and flu season.
