The Poudre School District Board of Education continued its discussion of a committee’s recommendation to close nine schools and consolidate two others in a special meeting at Oct. 20. According to the Coloradoan, board members had spent nearly 4 hours questioning the co-chairs of the Comprehensive Planning Committee and district leadership about the recommendation during a regular meeting Oct. 13. The school board’s seven members agreed at 11:47 p.m. to adjourn for the night and schedule an additional meeting prior to its scheduled Oct. 27 vote on the plan.
