The Weld County commissioners will earn $169,600 in 2029 and 2030, a 6% increase from the $160,000 salary the commissioners will begin receiving next year. The Greeley Tribune reports as one of the primary responsibilities of the Weld County Council, salaries for several elected county positions were set at the council’s monthly meeting on Monday. Council members gave nearly all positions a 12% salary increase for 2027-2030, raising the sheriff’s annual salary to $232,960 and the clerk and recorder and the county assessor’s salaries to $174,720.
