Windsor-Area Residents Oppose Proposed Oil and Gas Well Site

A group of Northern Colorado residents plans to speak out this week against an oil and gas production company’s proposal to build wells north of Windsor in unincorporated Weld County. The Greeley Tribune reports  Verdad Resources, LLC has applied to the county for a permit for a 22-well project known as the Century Pad. The proposed location is south of Weld County Road 74, also known as East Harmony Road, and Weld County Road 15.  A Weld Oil and Gas Location Assessment hearing on Verdad’s permit will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Weld County Board of County Commissioners hearing room, 1150 O. St. in Greeley. The hearing is not open to the public.
