Weld RE-4 Superintendent Getting A Raise

Weld RE-4 Superintendent Michelle Scallon will now receive a salary of more than $242,000 after receiving positive reviews from district officials.  According to the Greeley Tribune, the Weld RE-4 Board of Education unanimously approved a new contract with Scallon during the board’s Aug. 17 meeting.  Scallon’s annual base salary increased by 2.6% from $236,155 to $242,295.  In the contract, the board desired to “address past wage stagnation” and reward Scallon for her “14.7 years of dedicated service to the district.”
