To mark the 25th anniversary of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and the lives lost that day, the Greeley Fire Department and Weld County will hold special memorial events Friday morning. The Greeley Tribune reports o n Friday, the public is invited to attend the county’s annual memorial ceremony at the Public Works Department Flagpole. The event will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at the Public Works building at 1111 H St., Greeley. Also on Friday at the same time, the Greeley Fire Department will hold its own remembrance celebration to honor and reflect upon the events of 9/11. This event will be held at 8 a.m. Friday at Fire Station 1 at 1155 10th Ave.
