The city of Greeley’s time with Flock Safety may soon come to an end after several residents voiced concerns about the surveillance company to the city council earlier this month. According to the Greeley Tribune, Greeley City Council, after hearing a presentation about Flock Safety and other surveillance technologies from Greeley Police Department leadership, discuss plans not to renew the city’s contract with Flock Safety. The city has integrated Flock cameras and other citywide monitoring, including the Flock Raven gunshot detection system, into the Real-Time Information Center.
