A Greeley Mexican restaurant gave away north of $25,000 worth of free food last week as part of a community give-back event. According to the Greeley Tribune, Tres Amigos served up $27,000 of food to more than 300 tables Sept. 14 during “Comida con Corazon,” or “Food with Heart,” during which the restaurant made its entire food menu free. People started gathering outside the restaurant around 10:30 a.m., about a half hour before opening, and the line didn’t die down until the last person was seated right around 9 p.m.
