A former Weld County Jail deputy will spend at least eight years in prison after having a sexual relationship with a woman who was in the jail’s custody last year. According to the Greeley Tribune, 32 year old Jacob Golden was sentenced to a minimum of eight years to life after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual conduct by a peace officer. The Greeley Tribune reports about a half dozen charges were dismissed as part of a July plea agreement. Golden will also have to register as a sex offender.
