Oct. court hearing set for Greeley businessman arrested in cocaine distribution ring

An Oct. court hearing has been set for a Greeley businessman arrested in connection to a cocaine distribution ring. Following a multi-agency investigation, Alberto Loya, 46, was indicted last month (July 16) by the Weld County Grand Jury on suspicion of 21 felony charges, related to a cocaine trafficking operation in the Greeley area, according to a Greeley Police Department news release Wednesday. A disposition hearing has been scheduled in Weld District Court Oct. 25, greeleytribune.com reports.
