Larimer County officially opened a new 40,000-square-foot Emergency Services building on Friday, replacing its old Fort Collins facility. Located on West County Road 56, the modern hub features upgraded offices, dormitories, training areas, and vehicle storage. The new space will unite wildland fire, search and rescue, dive, and volunteer response teams under one roof. County officials emphasized that proper preparation and investment are essential to ensuring first responders are fully equipped when duty calls.
