Republican race for governor: State Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer (41%) holds a slight lead over ministry leader Victor Marx (39%) and state Rep. Scott Bottoms (20%). Democratic race for Senate: Sen. John Hickenlooper held off a challenge from state Rep. Julie Gonzales. Republican race for the 2nd Congressional District: Kelley Anne Dennison has a big lead over Christina Blunt. Democratic race for the 4th Congressional District: Eileen Laubacher defeated write-in candidate Jenna Preston and will face incumbent Rep. Lauren Boebert. Democratic race for 8th Congressional District: State Rep. Manny Rutinel defeated former state Rep. Shannon Bird. Democratic race for Colorado Attorney General: Jena Griswold, the current secretary of state, won with 46% of the votes counted so far. Republican race for Colorado House District 51: Amy Parks has a strong lead over Nancy Rumfelt. Democratic race for Larimer County treasurer and public trustee: Former state Sen.
