Man Who Admitted To Assault, Menacing at Ault bar Sentenced To Prison

A man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to charges relating to pointing a gun at staff and patrons at an Ault restaurant and threatening the restaurant’s operator, who has been accused of sexually assaulting the man’s underage family member. The Coloradoan reports 49 year  old  Dustin Warner was sentenced June 26 to seven years in prison, with credit for time already served.  Warner was arrested July 3, 2025, after he entered the Ugly Pony Saloon in Ault with a handgun and stated he was looking for the restaurant’s operator, Edward Bracken. Warner said he would kill Bracken, according to Warner’s arrest affidavit, and pointed the gun at 11 different patrons and bar staff.
