The “No Kings” organization that drew hundreds of thousands of Coloradans to the streets in three previous iterations will be back to support a different event June 14. According to the Coloradoan, the group behind the protests is partnering with Indivisible and the Committee for the First Amendment on a concert in New York on June 14, counterprogramming the UFC mixed martial arts fight happening at the White House. The event in Washington falls on Flag Day and President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, while also marking the kickoff of official celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary.
