A construction worker was killed in a crash at Gross Reservoir. Boulder County emergency responders were called to the site overnight Saturday. Police said a dump truck hauling 7,000 lbs. of rock and stone veered off the road and rolled into the reservoir. Divers located the driver’s body in the cab of the truck in waters 43 feet deep. The driver has not been identified yet. Construction to expand the reservoir has been underway since March with work lasting until 2025.
