Weld County residents can attend a test of the county’s voting equipment later this month as the primaries quickly approach. The Greeley Tribune reports the testing begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27 and will last until the process is finished at the Weld County Election Office, 1250 H St., in Greeley. State law requires the testing before elections, ensuring the system accurately records votes. As part of the test, members of both the Republican and Democratic parties will mark blank ballots and compare their marks with those recorded by the machines to assess accuracy. These party representatives will randomly select one machine to be deployed to the Voter Service and Polling Center.
