A Greeley man was arrested on suspicion of owning child sexual abuse material, some of which police say he created using generative artificial intelligence. According to the Greeley Tribune, 44 year old Nathan Burton was arrested May 8 on dozens of child sexual exploitation charges. He faces 38 counts of child sexual exploitation — induce or entice, 27 counts of possession of child sexual exploitation photos, 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a child videos, 5 counts of possession of child sexual exploitation — extraordinary risk, 5 counts of sexual exploitation of a child videos — extraordinary risk, and one count of giving false information when registering as a sex offender, according to Colorado court records.
