Man’s Catfishing Trial To Begin In Larimer County

A trial has been set for a man accused of catfishing two people on a dating app, meeting up with them in remote locations in Larimer County, then trapping them in his vehicle or threatening them.  The Coloradoan reports 33 year old Anthony Brown-Wrigh  pleaded not guilty May 7 to nine charges.   Brown-Wright was arrested in September 2025 after the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received two reports from victims who said they planned to meet up with a person they met on an app, but the person they met did not match the description they were given.
