The Greeley City Council on Tuesday will revisit the possibility of a 2026 ballot measure for a combined Public Safety and Homeless Solutions sales tax, which split the council during its February retreat. According to the Greeley Tribune, since the retreat, staff have not taken formal steps to advance a ballot measure and are seeking confirmation of the council’s interest before proceeding with additional work. Additionally, the council will receive the first of many planned 2027 budget updates, which will inform the council on the city staff’s current progress and discuss the direction officials want to take.
