Greeley greenlights lawsuit over water treatment plant renovations

A lawsuit is looming in Greeley. City council approved legal action against the construction and engineering firms tasked with renovating the city’s Bellvue Water Treatment facility. In 2020, the facility underwent a $25 million renovation, its first since 1947; the facility is responsible for processing most of the city’s water. The NoCo Optimist reports the city found several problems with the improvements made to the water treatment plant and has had to make costly repairs.
