It’s looking a lot different, and a lot better than it did. On Wednesday, city staff and officials got a sneak peek at the newly renovated Loveland Feed and Grain Building as construction nears completion on the mixed-use conversion project. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports the three-story building currently known as Loveland Feed and Grain is nearly as old as the city itself. It was constructed at 310 W. Third St. between 1891 and 1892, replacing another mill on the site that was destroyed by a fire. Crews were still putting the finishing touches on the nine residential and four commercial units now gracing the space on Wednesday, but all of the major work is done.
