Trial Date Set For Driver In Deadly Crash

A driver who struck and killed a 10 year old boy riding his bike in Timnath  back in August is headed to trial.   The accident that killed Oliver Stratton happened on Saddle Horn Drive.  53 year old Amy Weiss of Tinmath is charged with  careless driving resulting in death and tampering with physical evidence.   Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators said  evidence  showed the driver was distracted at the time of the crash.  On Monday, Weiss pleaded not guilty to both charges. A three-day trial has been scheduled for July 24-26.
