PG Daishen Nix decommits from UCLA, joins G League

Five-star point guard Daishen Nix is backing out of his commitment to play at UCLA and instead will join the G League, he told 247Sports.

Although he already signed to play for coach Mick Cronin and the Bruins, Nix said he had been in discussions with the NBA developmental league since the fall.

“Going to the NBA was always a dream for me, and playing for the G League is just one step down and it will help me develop my game for the 2021 Draft,” he told 247Sports.
