The spring sports schedule is officially off for the state’s high schools. CHSAA announced today that the spring sports season could not go forward in light of Governor Jared Polis’ announcement Monday that school buildings would remain closed for the rest of the season. The cancellations also include music, speech, debate and other activities overseen by the organization. Executive Director Rhonda Blanford-Green says CHSAA hopes a fall sports season can be held, but is also looking at contingency plans.
