Second wolfpack may be emerging in Walden

Evidence of a second wolf pack is emerging in the same area where the North Park wolfpack was ruling in Walden. The evidence-footprints of varying sizes discovered by ranchers and game camera footage shows more wolves may be calling the territory home, according to the Coloradoan. Two grey wolves and one black wolf were spotted near a ranch west of Walden, where a calf was killed on November 18. The possibility of a second wolf pack comes as voter approved plans to reintroduce wolves in Colorado will take shape over the next year.
