Louisville celebrates 1st home rebuilt after Marshall Fire

From tragedy to triumph – the community Louisville of is working to rebuild nearly one year after the Marshall Fire destroyed 1,000 homes. Jessica Carson lost her home on December 30, and this past Friday, she and her children moved back into their rebuilt home just in time for the holidays. The moment was commemorated with a ribbon cutting. Denver News 9 reports residents called Carson an “inspiration” as they wait to move back into their homes-with many saying obtaining building permits has been an obstacle to their rebuilds.
