Cause of Marshall Fire could come out ‘early’ in new year

We may soon know the cause of the Marshall Fire that killed two people and destroyed nearly 1,000 homes in Louisville and Superior. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said they hope to complete their investigation early in the new year. Deputies said they received more than 200 tips and reviewed hundreds of videos and photos. Possible causes of the fire include lightening, an underground coal fire, discarded cigarettes, debris burning or campfires, the use of fireworks or other human-causes.
