2 homes damaged in wildfire in Sunshine Canyon

A wind-fueled wildfire has destroyed one home and damaged another in Sunshine Canyon. The Sunshine Wildland Fire that broke out Monday in the foothills of Boulder County forced 450 people from their homes in Pine Brook Hill. The fire started in a home that it destroyed on the 2900 block of Sunshine Canyon Drive and spread to nearby wildlands. It’s scorched at least 19 acres so far, and at last check, was about 40% contained.
